For over thirty years, I have pursued a passion for building beautiful things from wood—from custom homes to cabinetry to fine furniture. As a carpenter and licensed building contractor, I have been involved in building projects with a particular emphasis in "sustainable" design and construction. Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to work with a number of outstanding architects and interior designers.
With a fully equipped woodworking shop in Virginia's beautiful Albemarle County, I am engaged in a wide variety of interesting projects including designing and building commissioned furniture and custom cabinetry to developing designs for furniture, clocks and presentation boxes made from historical wood. As much as I enjoy the creative process of designing and building with wood, the most fulfilling aspect of my work is the process of collaboration that results in a satisfied and appreciative client.
