Ralph, Pete, Oli and Rebecca

 

It seems four graduates enjoyed Chippendale so much that they are still here!

 

Pete says he learned more at Chippendale in four months than during four years of a product design course. Rebecca loved the diversity of the course and the supportive environment.

 

They remain here along with fellow graduates Ralph and Oli, renting workspace from Anselm and occasionally collaborating. One client recently commissioned an oak bookcase with a childproof ladder. It was a big project and it took them several weeks to complete.

 

But although they share a workshop and the occasional project, they each run their own business.

Pete spent part of the summer making a chair commissioned by a couple who spotted his veneer project at Graduation and wanted one as a solid piece. He also built himself a website which you can find here: www.petehewitt.com

 

Ralph is working on a hall table and mirror. One of his projects, a fine table, was recently displayed at the Conservative Club in Edinburgh. You can view his work here www.ralphchristie.co.uk

 

Rebecca is making a bureau and Oli is building an oak fireplace.
